ITINERARY:
1st
Day: PARIS
Board at quay de
Grenelle at 6.00pm and time to settle comfortably in your cabins. Meet
the crew during a welcome cocktail reception before enjoying a pleasant
dinner. Overnight stop in Paris (if the water level allows it).
2nd
Day: PARIS – CONFLANS SAINTE HONORINE
Departure by night
towards Conflans Sainte Honorine. Arrival around 08.00am.
Breakfast on board
then leave on a visit to the Chateau of Auvers on the Oise (optional).
– a small village with its castle at one end and church at the other.
Auvers sur Oise is one of the major centres of French painting,
including places which are reminiscent of Daubigny, Cézanne and Van
Gogh and made famous due to a multimedia event launched in 1994, the
first of its kind in the world , which invites its visitors on a “Trip
back in time to the Impressionist era”. Return to the ship for lunch.
In the afternoon, visit (optional) the Chateau of Versailles (closed to
the public on Mondays, replaced than by the “Chateau of Malmaison)
which is among the most famous and prestigious World heritage sites and
without doubt the most handsome and complete achievement of 17th
century French art.
Dinner on board and
overnight stay in Conflans.
3rd
Day: CONFLANS SAINTE HONORINE – PARIS
Buffet breakfast on
board while cruising towards Paris. Lunch on board and arrival around
1.00pm.
The afternoon will be
devoted to a guided tour of the capital (optional) taking in the Eiffel
Tower, Notre Dame cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées.
Gala dinner and
evening on board. Night stop in Paris.
4th
Day: PARIS
Buffet breakfast on
board before disembarking at 9.00am. End of the cruise.
