ITINERARY:
1st
Day: HONFLEUR
Boarding in Honfleur
between 18h and 19h. Settling into your cabin. Welcome cocktail in the
lounge in the company of the Captain and crew. Dinner. Free evening.
Overnight stopover.
2nd
Day: HONFLEUR – CAUDEBEC EN CAUX
Breakfast on board.
The morning will be devoted to the optional guided tour of the town and
its fishing port, its narrow picturesque streets and their old houses,
the salt lofts, the church of Saint Catherine (15th - 16th century)
which is the biggest church in France built of wood. Back to the boat
for lunch. The afternoon will be devoted to the optional excursion to
the Côte Fleurie, Trouville and Deauville. Tour of a distillery where
the famous Calvados is made. Back on board in the evening. Dinner.
Departure of the cruise, depending on the tides.
3rd
Day: CAUDEBEC EN CAUX – ROUEN
Breakfast on board
followed by the optional guided tour during which you will explore the
Abbey Trail with the church at Caudebec en Caux, which dates from the
15th century, and then on via Jumièges where one of the most beautiful
abbeys in France can be found, along with the church of Saint Peter,
which is one of the most beautiful examples of 10th century Norman
architecture. Back on board for lunch and departure of the cruise for
Rouen. Journey through a landscape of steep cliffs, at the foot of
which are a number of charming little villages typical of the region.
Arrival in Rouen around 16h. At the end of the afternoon, you will have
some free time to explore this city. Dinner. Overnight stopover.
4th
Day: ROUEN – VERNON
Breakfast on board. In
the morning, optional guided tour of the former capital of Normandy
where, among other things, you can explore the cathedral, the historic
quarters, and the Place du Vieux Marché where Joan of Arc was burnt at
the stake. Back to the boat for lunch. Departure of the cruise for
Vernon. This afternoon's cruise will travel through a landscape of
broad limestone cliffs. Gala dinner. Overnight stopover in Vernon.
5th
Day: VERNON – PARIS
Departure of the
cruise early in the morning. Breakfast on board. Intermediate stop in
Mantes la Jolie, which will be the starting point for the optional
guided tour of the Chateau of Versailles (except Mondays: chateau
closed), which is one of the most famous and prestigious monuments in
world heritage and represents one of the most beautiful and complete
creations of French 17th century Art. Back on board around noon in
Conflans-Sainte-Honorine. Lunch during the cruise. Afternoon's sailing
through the unfolding landscape as we approach France's capital city.
Past the futuristic La Défense district which will impress you with its
concrete and glass architecture. Dinner during the cruise. Arrival in
the beautifully illuminated capital. Overnight stopover.
6th
Day: PARIS
Breakfast on board.
This day will be entirely devoted to the tour of Paris, which will
begin with an optional half day guided tour exploring the mythical
places of the city, such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Arc de
Triomphe and the Champs Elysées. Lunch on board. Free afternoon in
Paris. Dinner. Overnight stopover.
7th
Day: PARIS
Breakfast on board.
Disembarkation around 9h. End of our journey.
